INGREDIENTS:
THE BASE:
200 g butter( room temperature)
3 egg yolks
1 cup powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
THE PASTRY CREAM:
2 cups liquid milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
zest of 1 lemon
METHOD:
In a large bowl, cream the butter & sugar. add the eggs & vanilla mix to combine then add the flour & continue mixing until getting a combined s dough.
Spread the dough in the tart pan, poke the surface with the tip of a fork . bake it in a preheated oven 180’C for 20 minutes.
let it cool down before removing it from the pan.
FOR THE CREAM:
in a pan, mix all the ingredients together put on medium heat while mixing continuously until thickened.
Transfer it to container and cover it directly on the top to avoid getting a thick layer when you want to use it!.
Let it cool completly before spreading it on the cooled baked dough.
