Chicken Noodle Casserole

Who isn’t a lover of chicken noodle soup? And who isn’t a sucker for a hearty casserole? Two of your favorites mixed into one simple dish! I’m a fan 9for a nice casserole. There is nothing quite like a delicious and satisfying dinner prepared entirely in one baking dish. This one is prepared using components that are readily available. Indeed, you probably already have the majority of these items in your cupboard. Casseroles were (and continue to be) ideal for every occasion. They are very soothing, and the majority of casseroles freeze extremely well. Today I’m sharing a creamy, chicken-y dish with you. We love it so much that we store the leftovers for another dinner later in the week or month. That is another advantage of casseroles. If you prepare a large batch, they make excellent leftovers. This cozy creamy dish utilizes a shortcut to quickly prepare a belly-warming dinner! Chicken, noodles, and peas are cooked till bubbling in a creamy sauce. It’s an excellent way to use leftover meats and vegetables, and it’s the ideal method to clear out the refrigerator.

This dish is simply made in advance and can be adapted to utilize any ingredients you have on hand! It’s a wonderful evening dinner since it’s ready in 30 minutes. This simple comfort meal recipe takes just two minutes to prepare! In a casserole dish, combine all ingredients. Sprinkle toppings over the top and bake. It’s that simple to prepare a delicious evening dinner!

Ingredients:
1 package (12 oz) egg noodles, cooked and drained
Meat from 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 cans (10 oz each) of condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup milk
1/2 onion, finely diced
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted

Methods:
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, stir together chicken, condensed soup, mayonnaise, milk, onion, cheese, and frozen veggies.
Gently fold in egg noodles and spread the mixture into the baking dish.
Sprinkle Panko bread crumbs evenly over the top, then drizzle with melted butter.
Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 30-35 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
