Ingredients:
Crust:
1 ½ c finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies
2 tbsp white sugar
¼ c melted butter
Cake:
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, cut into chunks
¾ c white sugar
2 tbsp white sugar
1 c sour cream
3 large Eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cookie Dough:
¼ c butter softened
¼ c firmly packed brown sugar
¼ c white sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
½ c all-purpose flour
Topping:
1 c sour cream
2 tsp white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add the cookie crumbs, chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, melted butter, and two tbsp of white sugar. Stir until well combined.
Step 3: Transfer the mixture into a 9-inch springform pan and spread evenly on the bottom.
Step 4: Place the crust inside the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes.
Step 5: In a mixing bowl, add 3/4 cups of white sugar and cream cheese. Beat until well blended.
Step 6: Add eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla, and 1 cup of sour cream. Beat again until the texture becomes smooth.
Step 7: Spread the mixture on top of the baked crust.
Step 8: In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, 1/4 cup of butter, and 1/4 cup of white sugar. Beat until well combined.
Step 9: Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and water. Stir until well blended.
Step 10: Add flour and chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed.
Step 11: Add a couple of 2 tablespoons of the mixture over the cheesecake, then push them down.
Step 12: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until done.
Step 13: In a mixing bowl, add 2 teaspoons of white sugar, 1 cup of sour cream, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Stir until well combined.
Step 14: Spread the mixture on top of the cake.
Step 15: Allow the cake to cool at room temperature, then place it inside the fridge to chill.
